How do I find my console number?
For those who don't know, to find your Wii Code (Number): Click on the envelope icon in the lower right hand side of your Wii Main Menu; from there you should be in a screen with at least one envelope containing a history of your system usage for the day; in that screen there are two icons in the lower left corner of the screen, one for a calendar, and one labeled "Create Message", click the "Create Message" icon; on the screen will be three more icons, a Memo icon, an envelope icon, and an Address Book icon, click the Address Book icon; your Wii Code (Number) is displayed on this page.

An exchange only works if the person you added has added you in return.
How do I exchange codes on websites and forums?
I see to often sites and forums where people only leave a nick name and console number. How will they know you added them? well, you can leave a post with your number and a message saying that you added them but then your left hoping that person even takes time to check back on the site or forum.If you've added someones console number and they've left you no other way to notify them but to leave a post then This is where, again, I suggest creating a separate e-mail account so that you can post both your name, console number and your e-mail so that they can e-mail you letting you know that they added you/or you added them.(when posting, let them know that the e-mail address is for this reason).
